Out today marching against racism and for Palestine 🇵🇸✊🏾
No hierarchy of racism. Anti-Blackness, Islamophobia, antisemitism — we oppose all of it.
The Palestine demos changed British politics. They showed what’s possible. We’re building on that.
Where they divide, we march together.
👊🏽Tomorrow we march. Against fascism 🫱🏽🫲🏾for Palestine.
Join speakers including @officialhackneyabbott@zarahsultanamp@danielkebede@dr.ghassan.as and thousands more to come together for Palestine and against the far right

Parliamentarians including Jeremy Corbyn, Diane Abbott, and Zarah Sultana have pushed back against police interference in politics, demanding that the Met Commissioner retract his smears against Gaza protesters. Read via the link in our bio.
"If the British government is going to be completely dominated by the bond market, MPs might as well go home."
Diane Abbott told Cathy Newman on Sky News that whoever replaces Keir Starmer as prime minister must go through a "properly organised selection process", regardless of any "hissy fit" made by the bond markets. When this provoked laughter from Newman and eye rolling from former Conservative cabinet minister Gillian Keegan, @officialhackneyabbott argued that there's no point in having a parliament if the financial sector always has the final word.

Whilst all the results haven’t come in, Reform UK have made big gains.
Reform are a threat to women everywhere. Read our statement above.
We won’t stop fighting against all forms of oppression. Fuck the far right, no to racism and sexism! ✊
There is no denying that these election results are going to be very bad for Labour.
Yes, Keir Starmer is very unpopular.
But it is the policies that drive that unpopularity.
Simply changing the leader without changing the policies will not avert disaster in 2029
Also, we need to challenge this myth, very widely held in Labour, that we achieved an huge popular victory in 2024 under Starmer.
In fact we won 9.7 million votes, over 3 million fewer than in 2017 and half a million less than the ‘disastrous’ 2019 poll.
We won because the Tories imploded in 2024.
What a moment. 🖤✨
We were honoured to welcome the legendary @officialhackneyabbott Diane Abbott MP to our Tottenham Literature Festival, right here at Bernie Grant Arts Centre — the home of culture and community in North London.
Diane joined us to celebrate her powerful memoir A Woman Like Me — a story of resilience, representation, and blazing a trail for us all. 💜
Hearing her speak in this space felt deeply fitting. Bernie Grant himself stood for everything she embodies — courage, community, and refusing to be silent.
To everyone who came out and filled the room with love and energy — thank you. This is what Tottenham looks like. 🙏🏾
