Drum&BassArena is 30 this year 🤯
Born in 1996 with a simple ethos: to share our love for drum & bass and bring people together around the music. What started as a passion project became a global community.
Three decades on, that mission hasn’t changed. This year we’ll be celebrating the past, present and future of drum & bass with brand new music from scene legends as well as the next generation pushing the sound forward, alongside a few surprises.
Our journey wouldn’t be possible without the passionate community who’ve been with us from the start, and everyone who’s joined along the way - from fans to artists, labels and all those working tirelessly behind the scenes.

DJ Die is an artist who has not only innovated the drum & bass sound but has continued to be a leading light for the genre. He remains a vital force in the present day, continuing to push boundaries through his @gutterfunk_uk imprint, high-profile collaborations and landmark records as part of @watchtheride_ and, of course, his enduring contributions to Full Cycle and the Mercury Prize-winning Reprazent.
Alongside the veteran mic control of MC AD, these two have helped shape the very DNA of this culture over the last three decades and more.
