During my conversation on the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) Kontri Mata on Saturday, May 9th, 2026, I made a strong point about the future of women’s political participation across Africa.
I emphasized that countries making significant progress in women’s political representation did not arrive there by chance. They intentionally transformed their systems, institutions, and political structures to create pathways for women to lead.
From Rwanda to Namibia, Zimbabwe, and Ethiopia, women are increasingly occupying strategic leadership positions, not only as voters, but as heads of key national institutions.
To me, this is proof that inclusive governance is possible when political systems deliberately create room for women to lead.
Nigeria cannot continue to celebrate women only as the majority voting population while excluding them from critical decision-making.
As we approach 2027, the conversation must move beyond promises and symbolism. It must focus on structural reforms and political inclusion.
Because when women lead, institutions become stronger, and democracy becomes more representative of the people it serves.
I remain committed to amplifying the call for a political system where women are not just participants in democracy, but leaders shaping its future.
Interestingly, after the interview, I had the pleasure of meeting a remarkable young writer, Acho Zion Chisimdi, a 14-year-old student of Springtide International School, Abuja, who presented me with an autographed copy of her book.
Chisimdi was among the exceptionally gifted underaged candidates permitted by JAMB to sit for this year’s matriculation examination. Aspiring to study Medicine and Surgery, she scored an outstanding 321 in the examination.
Beyond her academic brilliance, Chisimdi is also a prolific writer, having authored over 50 unpublished books set for publication soon.
Meeting her was a powerful reminder that Nigeria and Africa are filled with extraordinary young minds whose talents and creativity must be nurtured, protected, and intentionally empowered.

I was genuinely delighted to receive the invitation to join Cohort 23 of the Executive Masterclass on Public Speaking, convened by my mentor, Eugenia Abu. A friend teased, “But you’re already a proficient speaker.” And that was the point, the twist! Public speaking is no longer just talent; it is evolving into an intentional craft that demands new-age skills, adaptability, and mastery of both presence and platform.
From the outset, this High-Level Impact Exclusive Masterclass was clearly no routine training. It was an immersive convergence of professionals across sectors, a room that felt like a think tank alive with insight, curiosity, and a shared pursuit of excellence.
The Speaking Mentorship Clinic was deeply transformative, pushing me to rethink how I listen and re think, structure finesse , and deliver innovatively. Sessions on etiquette and technology reaffirmed my understanding of communication in a digital, evolving audience landscape, while the gifting and book mapping for me as a trainer reinforced a simple truth mastery is anchored in continuous learning.
Engaging minds like ourr veteran Cyril Stober and resplendant Madam Eugenia Abu was both instructive and grounding, their depth and lived experience adding a richness no textbook can replicate.
What lingered most, however, was the amazing people from all sectors, Executives from the oil and gas sector, Education, Architecture, military , media it wtas a whole ecosystem. In three days, we became a community, brilliant, driven individuals shaping narratives and influencing spaces.
Cohort 23 was more than a masterclass; it was a reminder that growth is a choice, and mastery is a continuous, evolving pursuit.

Grace Unspeakable — The Story of a Life Rewritten by Grace
In Grace Unspeakable, Dr. Goddy Jedy-Agba opens the pages of his life like an altar a space where pain, faith, and redemption meet in quiet conversation. It is more than a memoir; it is a pilgrimage through the valleys of human frailty into the sunlight of divine renewal.
From the edge of death, a 25-hour brain surgery, a 31-day coma, and the hesitant first steps back into consciousness emerges not just survival, but transformation. In those pages, grace is not abstract. It becomes breath, heartbeat, purpose. It is the whispered reminder that God is present even in silence, that leadership without integrity is empty sound, and that love for family, for country, for humanity — is the purest act of service.
This is the story of a man reborn into humility and strength. Through the lens of his public service and private faith, Dr. Jedy-Agba unravels the illusions of power and points us instead toward a quieter truth: that the real mark of leadership lies in discipline, gratitude, and wisdom guided by conscience. His reflections on marriage, loss, and love remind us that family is not merely our refuge, but the wellspring from which courage flows.
At the Rovenheights book signing, the air was thick with emotion stories mingling, hearts opening. People from every walk of life gathered under one banner: grace. It was as if every shared moment reawakened something sacred proof that stories have power to heal wounds our hands may never touch, to shape hearts long after the pages close.
Grace Unspeakable is more than a title; it is testimony. It is light in the dark corners of human experience God’s infinite grace revealed in the most profound ways.

You see “Adaora and Rena” on TV and you see colleagues cohosting a 3-hour morning show. Yeah well?? You’re right because it’s on AIT’s set.
However, way beyond that sight is an established woman holding the hand of a younger woman Through Purpose. Through Career. Through Choices off TV.
It was pure admiration for her brains because I’m attracted to brainy people. If you ever listen to her, you’d know she’s a mobile encyclopedia. The most informed human in this part of the world. It’s always my pleasure picking her brain on life issues. 😂 I’m guessing if she has her way, she would probably bar me from the DAAR hill whenever she’s coming around so she could breathe in peace without Rena and her truckload of wahala 😂 but she loves me like that.
It’s not her birthday. Just sharing to say thank you, dear Mentor, Dr. @officialadaoraonyechere for the gift of access to you. You so standout and I love you for it.

Over the years, I have journeyed through remarkable histories
not merely as a reader, but as a quiet witness to lives unfolding between ink and silence.
On the sacred pages of memoirs, through the art I revere and the stories that have shaped my voice,
I have learned a deeper truth: that stories do not always end where the last line rests, sometimes, they begin there.
As a connoisseur of books, I have come to read not only the words,
but the spaces between them
where pain softens into wisdom,
where memory becomes meaning,
and where grace, often unspoken, finds its voice.
One of such books is Grace Unspeakable.
To host alongside Rovingheight Book Stores, the Exclusive Book Reading and Signing of Grace Unspeakable by Goddy Jedy-Agba
was more than an event, it was a quiet convergence of kindred spirits
An expression of hearts laid open,
a communion of stories shared in quiet courage,
and a gentle immersion into the fragrance of lived experiences some tender, some triumphant, all deeply human.
It was a morning wrapped in light.
lightness of spirit, warmth of presence,
and the rare beauty of true friendship anchored in the profound knowing, that who we are, and all we become,
rests eternally in the embrace of God’s grace.
Grace Unspeakable is not merely a book;
it is a mirror, a balm, a whispered reminder
that even in the unsayable, there is meaning
and in grace, there is always redemption.
The book is available on Amazon, Cromwell, Selar, Kobo, and Rovingheights,
with its audio journey accessible on Audible, Apple Podcasts, and Spotify.
