As a chauffeur it is important to know the new and great places to visit that are in the local area. @offgridsauna is brand new and well worth visiting if you spending the weekend in Rye, or if you live locally, wanting to add an incredibly healthy & peaceful place to your weekly & monthly routine.
This sauna is outstanding. The setting is brilliant, after dark with the flow of nearby water and owls in the woods add to the peace of the set up. The sauna itself is brand new, thoroughly clean, and the cast iron bath for cold dip is a great touch. The heat from the wood fired stove is great and consistent for the whole period. A very nice addition is fresh oranges and cinnamon tea at ‘half time’.
Take a torch, wear welly type shoes/boots for the walk to the sauna as there is bit of a squelch right now.
My partner and I have just subscribed to the monthly membership after two visits.
Excellent if you live nearby by or are visiting Rye & Hastings areas.

The off grid sauna is often fully booked these days. I have been over welded by the positive reception it has receive over the last few months. It’s a pleasure to host this space.
So we are opening Sunday’s and Monday mornings for all you folks.
I invite you all to make Sunday more European. Quiet nude Sunday saunas. I can’t quite bring myself to self to make that a rule but I strongly encourage you all to be brave. try nude sauna. its a vibe. If this is new to you then I suggest a towel for walking around in when not in the sauna as a nice inbetween.
Our Sunday European sauna will be hosted by our new sauna host Georgie. She will be hosting Sunday and Monday mornings for the next few months.
Beltane - the start of summer (better known in our town as Jack in the Green) arrives as the start of May.

I am over the moon to have discovered the @racketeersbrewingco is just a 20 minute walk from our sauna.
Each Saturday after sauna I have been walking across the fields at dusk to enjoy some truly exceptional bear around a fire with community.
You can find Ian and Andy literally making the bear as they serve pints like a couple of mad hoppy wizards. Steam billowing out the door full of sweet hoppy aroma.
The taste and clarity of the bear is exceptional, my favourite so far is the Amber Ale with a marmalade aroma it’s everything I want in an ale but with the lively refreshing crispness of a modern bear.
For an afternoon walking, saunaing and celebrating round a fire with bears and friends I highly recommend parking at the micro brewery walking to the sauna for a eco concession sauna (£12 when you walk) and finishing it off with a short walk back to the micro brewery feeling fresh as a daisy.
You can also take a circular route for those wanting a longer walk. Just find our location on ALL TAILS app map and follow the foot paths. Or follow the signs the old fashioned way.
