We have to put our drinks on ice 🥶
If you’ve been following along, you know that after the longest government shutdown in history Mitch McConnell snuck in language into a bill that will make low-dose products illegal.
The ban goes into effect this November. If left unchanged, it will remove low-dose products from shelves, thousands of jobs will be lost, family farms across America will go bankrupt, and your access to all cannabinoid products, including CBD, will be gone. All in the name of helping large distilleries and alcohol companies. A big win for Big Booze, and a huge loss for the American people.
We don’t want that!
Unfortunately, it’s not always about what we want. In preparation for the looming ban, we are forced to make some concessions. This concession is a big one for us! We have to pause production on our High Performance Sports Drinks, which means whatever we have left in stock is all we’ll have for now. After years of development, a long Offfield Labs trial, and hundreds of thousands of cans sold, we now have to say, “See you later, alligator.” As a small business, being stocked with a drink, no matter how loved by our customers, puts us at risk of losing everything if a ban goes into effect and we’re left holding the bag.
So, we’re pausing drinks. It’s not goodbye! It’s just a hiatus. Don’t worry. Our High Performance Energy Gummies, Enhanced Energy Gummies, and High Performance Sleep Gummies are here to stay. Thanks to the far easier logistics of the gummy format, we can keep them in stock without much risk until November.
If the Senate and House wake up to the autocratic ban and decide to actually implement new language that is overwhelmingly supported by the American people, then the drinks will come back, jobs won’t be lost, and innovation will continue!
We’re not giving up. With your help, we’ll only be stronger for it. Thank you for believing in us 💚
