First pic is the moon shinning on South Pacific Ocean! We been down under :) Syd City welcomed me w big smiles and hella lot of warmth <3 Forever grateful to music for being my A1 since day 1, and taking me to people and places that feel like home, keeps me going in these uncertain times. I am hopeful. Played some of my bucketlist sets! Big up Dayshift (set was recorded and will be out soon for playback?). Also played my first ever secret warehouse rave ‘Starstrruckk’, thanks to Strrukki, and a major rager at Chinese Laundry, shouts to Bry! Was on air for radios a couple of times with a mix and a chat, which was really awesome, spotlighting the music and artists I dig + sharing my POV on the scene w the listeners. A privilege indeed, giving thanks for the invites🫶🏻 Got to decompress after raves, easy chill rooms w minimal or no sound, only connecting w people, love this concept and much needed. This way it’s less yapping in the dance, leave it all for later. Spent some time exploring the city and checking out some incredibly talented artists and cool spots <3 I love how artists go out of their way to support each other, especially the girls. I felt the love deeply. And I appreciate the feedback so so much. Some side quests that blew my mind came through naturally. Sending hugs to everyone I met or got to shake ass with! Most repeat soon. FUTUREJUICE X H34VEN0N34RTH: panel / discourse / insight “what is community and the delight in weirdness” a talk centred in insights into forming spaces of each speaker’s curated underground. featuring: NET GALA - Experimental artist, DJ and founder of Gwangheungchang in Seoul WEYON - co-formulator of Offering in Gadigal/So-Called Sydney Aki Sassy Savage - Father of Kaurna’s current vogue ballroom scene Max Johnstone - Artist, agent and founder of H34VEN0N34RTH, a queer underground collective. Zoe Goldfinch - Founder of Gloss, a blossoming FLINTA collective focussed in house music. Moderating the panel is Artemis Bishop, music composer, dj, and founder of Onyx.
