For years I've told people concerned about Offbeat Bride's name being gendered that "bride is a state of mind, not a set of genitals."
And while I still maintain the truth of that statement, I'm also stoked to finally be getting the gendering out of the brand's name.
Here's to inclusivity!
The process of rebranding a 17-year-old property ain't for the weak... there's trademark and copywrite stuff to talk about with my lawyer, domain stuff to talk about with the sysadmins, web stuff to talk about with the developer. But at least we got our placeholder logo from the designer! We're aiming to fully flip the switch by the end of 2022... hopefully sooner.
