We are extremely proud to announce that as of February 2023 OFF Films is merging into off studios GmbH. Our dear friend Simon Mairhofer will join us as an executive partner and will bring a lot of experience in senior project managing and business development to the table.
It always felt natural to take a risk or to work seven days a week for something that really excites us and together with our new partner we all feel even more confident to take on new challenges.
OFF Films was founded almost five years ago. Since then we learned a lot and were fortunate enough to work with some of our dream clients as well as the best freelancers in the industry, many of whom we're friends of.
We thought it would be tough to let go of the first company that we co-founded, but it actually feels more like an evolution into something bigger.
Big shoutout to the german bureaucracy for making this process as long-winded as possible.

Finally able to share this campaign we shot on what felt like the only two sunny days in an otherwise very rainy december week in Portugal.

Elias is a photographer, art director, and visual storyteller. More than 10 years ago, his fascination with product and design led him to pick up a camera—and ever since, he has been exploring how images can bring ideas and stories to life.
His work moves between photography, mixed media, and content creation. Whether it’s commercial projects, short-form video, or documentary work, Elias experiments with formats and aesthetics, always with a strong sense for storytelling and design.
