Official Statement: Postponement of 2026 National Conference
Omega Delta Phi Fraternity, Inc. announces that our National Conference, scheduled to take place this summer in Seattle, will be postponed to a future date and year. The National Executive Council will work to strategize and move our conference to a biennial model.
This decision was made thoughtfully and with direct input from our undergraduate membership, whose voices remain central to the direction of our Fraternity. Several key factors influenced this outcome, including the rising costs associated with conference attendance on an annual basis, the increasing financial pressures related to personal living expenses, and a collective desire to ensure that our national programming remains accessible, relevant, and impactful for all members.
Beyond these immediate considerations, this decision also creates an intentional opportunity for growth. We will use this time to reimagine and rebrand the National Conference experience—focusing on innovation, accessibility, and alignment with the evolving needs of our Brotherhood. This includes exploring new approaches to programming, enhancing our creative and strategic marketing approach and, strengthening member engagement at all levels of membership. This will start with strategic planning sessions that include the National Executive Council, National Undergraduate Council, Regional leadership and our Board of Directors.
We also want to assure all members and attendees who have already registered that full refunds will be processed and completed by the end of the month. Additional details and confirmations will be communicated directly to those affected.
While we will miss the opportunity to gather in person this summer, we are energized by the opportunity to build a more dynamic, innovative, and forward-thinking Houston National Convention in 2027.
We appreciate the understanding, input, and continued dedication of our members as we take this step together.
In True Brotherhood,
The National Executive Council

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Official Statement from Omega Delta Phi Fraternity, Inc. Condemning ICE Actions and A Call to Action
Omega Delta Phi Fraternity, Inc. stands in firm opposition to acts of aggression, intimidation, and fear that harm immigrant communities and families. Given our deep devotion to community service and by extension service to people of the community, we are deeply disturbed and alarmed by the events in Minneapolis. We stand in solidarity with the people of Minnesota and everyone who is protesting continued enforcement practices and acts of aggression by Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency (ICE), particularly on Asian, Black, and Brown families and communities. As an organization we condemn actions that threaten the dignity, safety, and human rights of individuals—regardless of immigration status.
Many members of our brotherhood, our families, and the communities we serve are directly impacted by ICE practices that create fear and instability. We believe public safety and human dignity are not opposing values. Enforcement approaches that rely on excessive force, racial profiling, or community disruption erode trust and inflict lasting harm.
Omega Delta Phi was built to uplift underrepresented communities through leadership, education, and service. In this moment, we reaffirm our commitment to stand with those affected, to use our voices responsibly, and to channel our concern into meaningful, constructive action.
To our brothers: there is no debate on where we need to stand on social issues as it is written and expressed through our Mission and Values. Now is the time to come together, work towards the truth of our values and hold our brothers accountable to our values. We call on our members, alumni, and supporters to stay informed, stay engaged, and most importantly, stay united in support of humane policies and the protection of civil rights.
In True Brotherhood.
The National Executive Council of Omega Delta Phi Fraternity, Inc.
