As part of Amsterdam’s 750th birthday (because apparently cities have birthdays too—who knew? Honestly, it’s hard to tell if 750 is impressive or just tragic), I ended up collaborating with friends and some “amazing” people… or at least that’s what I’m supposed to say. 😏
We made a little video that digs into Amsterdam’s darker side—the side the guy with the red umbrella on your free walking tour definitely left out. Turns out, between the canals, the coffee shops, and the tourist selfies, there’s a history messier than a drunken night in the Red Light District. Spoiler: it’s not cute.

Talking about mental health should be easier. It should be as simple, as casual, as talking about the weather, how little you’ve slept, or how disappointing and overpriced that restaurant in Hackney recommended by Eater turned out to be.
But the truth is… it’s not.
This year, together with @ross_hell and some fam, I made a very personal video about mental health. A piece that speaks to everyone and yet, to no one in particular.
It’s a reminder for all of us, especially for men, that we need to stop hiding behind “Yeah, I’m fine” or "Just hanging in there.”
Because we “hang in there” until we can’t anymore. And when there’s nothing left to hold on to, everything can change in an instant.
