April 25, 2026 The Plains, Va- Todd DiCiurcio’s latest exhibition, “The Club Is Open” curated by musician Luis Carlos Linares in the area’s newest contemporary space, The Modern At Highbury brings 19 featured paintings together to expose a historical lineage of processes beginning with music, the ardent ink & charcoal renderings of indie bands Dope Lemon, Guided By Voices from 2011 in NYC through the momentous live element into Gold masterings with enamel & diamond dust. From the vehement explorations in current compositions like “Fire Horse Judo Dance Steps Forage”, to never before seen original works including studio paintings appropriated to feature the artist in corporate campaigns.
