Lene Rix is the designer behind the brand @odd_row . Lene holds a degree in design and began her creative journey in childrenswear before transitioning into knitwear pattern design. Driven by curiosity and a passion for experimentation, she explores a wide range of techniques and materials across multiple creative disciplines — from knitting and sewing to ceramics and leatherwork.
Today, she designs knitwear patterns primarily for women, as well as for children and men, under the brand Odd Row, bringing a distinctly hands-on approach to every project. She works meticulously with details, often developing and inventing new knitting techniques to achieve precisely the effect she envisions. Her work with ceramics intersects directly with her knitwear practice, as she creates handmade ceramic buttons that add a unique, artisanal touch to her designs.
Lene Rix’s moodboard reflects her multidisciplinary approach and experimental mindset. Her inspiration is rooted in the materials themselves — the texture of yarn, the richness of leather, the form of clay. She designs with an openness to discovery, allowing each material and technique to reveal new possibilities within her work.
