Small Business Saturday came and went as it does every year, but for me the dedication to shopping small, avoiding massive corporations and handmaking gifts for my loved ones has continued.

This year is bringing lots of change for Odd Romp! I'm back in school now and the majority of my time has been focused on studying. Having less time for fun sewing and photoshoots has been a bit of a downer but I've had some time to think about how to make Odd Romp fit more sustainably into my life. I'm planning on moving to a made-to-order custom format soon instead of working on large batches of ready-to-wear pieces. If you've been looking for custom fit sets this should be great news! I'll be posting more info on how to place custom orders soon! In the mean time, look out for some big discounts on pieces I still have in stock! 😘
Taking a moment this morning to really appreciate the job I did making this garterbelt. I don't toot my own horn too much on this page so I'll indulge today. I spent a long time sourcing materials that could stand up to a lot of movement and wear and I think it really shows after this weekend!
I bartended one of the busiest most active nights of the annual performance of The Rocky Horror Picture Show at The Union last night wearing this garterbelt and other of my metallic red pieces. The straps stayed secure and comfortable and not a single spot of the metallic finish rubbed off. The whole set stayed comfortable through my shift aaand a night of sweaty dancing after work! I dare you to find fast fashion pieces that can do that.

It's finally happening! I'm so excited to finally be offering a sewing workshop! I've teamed up with the amazing Riot Couture Studio in Celeveland to put together this fun little workshop this Saturday, June 28th. We're gonna learn to make custom sized g-strings!
This is an intermediate or sewing machine aware beginner workshop with materials and a limited number of machines available. If you have a working sewing machine you'd like to use feel free to bring it! Make sure to pre-register through the link in my bio!
The class will be at Riot Couture Studio, 4430 St Clair Ave, Cleveland, Ohio! Come check out their amazing space, learn some great sewing tips, and talk lingerie with us!
