Where do I even start?
This took a very long time to come out. It required a lot of work, patience, growth, and trust. And I have few people to thank for it. (You know who you are) ✨
I was fortunate enough to be one of the 16 lucky people to be accepted into the Dyke* High workshop, held by the incredible Magic Dyke* Team. And thanks to this incredible, magnificent, vulnerable and humbling experience, and all the people that took part in it, I have been able to finally accept and give space to a part of me that as been screaming for ages to be seen.
@magicdykeofficial I don’t know how to say this, I hope you realize the importance that this opportunity has been to me. I could never, and I say NEVER, thank you enough, for what you gave me, for what you taught me, for your trust in me. You made me feel hooman, you made me feel so seen, so accepted, so vulnerable. I’ve never thought in my entire life that I could be seen for who I truly am, a Butch, a Dyke, a Lesbian.
With tears in my eyes, I thank you all, from the bottom of my hearth I could never repay you enough. Words cannot describe how I feel right now, and what you gave me. A special thank you goes to the core team, a thank you to the OGs, and to every baby dyke that held space for me and was part of the process. What you do for our community is priceless, I am so grateful and so honored to be part of this family. I’ll treasure it forever 😭 you are a gift to our community! I hope you know that, I need you to hear it 🫂
