Another ArtsDay in the books! As always, a huge thank you to @allenbuansi and @reneeprice4nc for understanding why the arts are critical to our communities, our youth, and our economy. Thank you to our new Senator @jonahgarsonnc for making time to meet with our delegation in his busy first few weeks in office. Thank you to our board members @lindsaymetivier and Cassi Chandler for making time to be here with us.
Our day wrapped up with a viewing of “We Lift Each Other Up,” a documentary about veterans working with @blackboxdance to work through the trauma of war. It’s beautiful. It was the perfect ending to the last two days and a reminder of why we do what we do. 🧡
