The 305 International Improv Fest continues May 15-16 at UCR Sede del Pacífico in Puntarenas, and the lineup is packed. Kick things off Friday morning with a hands-on handcrafted 16mm film workshop, then dive into an afternoon of improvisational dance with Venezuelan-American choreographer Luis Lara A. Malvacías.
Friday night brings the festival's Puntarenas opening with live performance in an unconventional campus space. Saturday, seventeen short films from international filmmakers spanning body, ritual, landscape, and memory screen with a Q&A, followed by the festival's Costa Rica closing night performance.
