Introducing the "new" Oceanears logo! I say "new" because this was actually our very first logo back in 1990 before we were officially called Oceanears. But the original was drawn with just markers! So I asked @abbeysroad_14 to help us out again and she made it look as close to the original, while bringing in new ideas to apply to it! The veil is thin, as another beloved passes. 💦 Death & life dance together In order to truly embrace life, it is vitally important to accept death. These are some lessons that death has taught me. 🌹 My heart is so tender. A dear friend, bright soul and client passed from cancer earlier this week & I found out yesterday my beloved auntie (who was like a second mom to me) is in the dying process. This life is so short, please appreciate every moment of it. None of us get out alive. The neurosensory space of water coupled with the interaction of the human nervous system & mammalian dive reflex uniquely alters brain & body chemistry - for the better (calm, creativity, intuition & peak flow brain states). Together, we worked out technical control & mastery, emotive power & even the best look/ attire & dive belt set-up to achieve peak flow. Water Dance 💦 💃 💦 What brings you joy?? ✨ Water Dance has been a beautiful new art-form I’ve been exploring as an extension of the mermaid world I’ve been in, for the last year and a half. 🔱 This movement is deeply fulfilling to me. I have always been a dancer since I was a child & have always felt like the water was/is my home, so to combine the two together is a natural evolution for me! When I stumbled upon the work of the brilliant underwater dancer @theunderwaterwoman I was inspired to learn from her, which has been an ecstatic and powerful experience. 💃 I hope you enjoy this little playful piece I’m sharing here. One of my main sleepaway dance camp goals was finding a way to play music underwater at the pool and I discovered @oceanears who sent over their gem invention and it was a total game changer to be able to hear the same music that was playing above, below.
