Thor Harris & Joy Von Spain⁠ Influential avant-garde artist Jarboe, and former member of the legendary Swans, will embark on a UK and European tour in May 2026, presenting a truly unique and powerful collaboration alongside multi-instrumentalist Thor Harris (ex-Swans, Xiu Xiu, Shearwater) and vocalist/composer Joy Von Spain (Eye of Nix). Jarboe’s live set, an immersive experience forged across decades of boundary-pushing music, will draw from her deep catalogue of industrial, experimental and atmospheric works. The trio will also debut two ambient pieces from her forthcoming album, “Sightings”. The performance is a unique union of ritual, sound and raw emotion, showcasing three distinct voices from the experimental underground working in transformative harmony.⁠ ⁠ Dawn Terry⁠ From the days of Bong to a host of collaborations; Dawn Terry is a mainstay of the UK underground. She plays slow, melancholic music for sad people. Based in Newcastle, she is a veteran drone artist producing work that is heavy, dreamlike and hypnotic. Her performances unfold patiently, building immersive walls of tone and texture that feel both intimate and overwhelming.⁠ ⁠ Sade Arellano⁠ Rooted in oral tradition and a DIY communal spirit, Sade’s music draws from English, Scottish, and Irish folk, medieval ballads, Yiddish klezmer, and Appalachian songs. Field recordings, found sound, harmonica, violin, guitar and tape loops are shaped in real time using radios, reel-to-reel machines, turntables, cassette players and acoustic instrumentation. Recordings are made in real time and reused rather than treated as finished tracks. Two albums out on 12th Isle & South of North, also known for across Real No Real and Ediciones Fontenebro. Nakul Krishnamurthy (India) | @nakulkrishnamurthy Working between Indian classical traditions, Western classical frameworks and experimental composition, Nakul Krishnamurthy reworks structure rather than preserving it. Drawing across Carnatic, Hindustani, Western classical and experimental music, he builds systems where forms overlap and rotate. Album just released on The Death of Rave, with earlier work on Cafe Oto’s Takuroku. Dali de Saint Paul & Memotone (Bristol) | @dalidesaintpaul @will_memotone Two Bristol mainstays doing something together for the first time. Dali de Saint Paul works with voice across improvisation, noise and ensemble settings, always moving context. Memotone moves through ambient jazz and soundtrack-influenced work, never fixed in one category. A pairing not one expected. Releases across The Trilogy Tapes, Accidental Meetings, World of Echo etc. Girl Downstairs (dj - Amsterdam) | @giulinicolai Amsterdam-based Italian deejay, first UK show. Lineup update for this Saturday @spanners.club Due to airspace closures in Jordan amid the current escalation and instability in the region, Mayss is unfortunately no longer able to travel to London for Saturday’s event. Our thoughts are with Mayss and the many others currently facing ongoing and unjust violence and displacement. Incoming V-Day spectacle … Natural Causes cracks open with three first-time visitors to Bristol, each arriving from a different corner of the map and refusing to behave. This is a night of friction and flavour, where nothing quite lines up but everything hits. Soborgnost slides in first, looping lo-fi EBM, dance and disco into something stubborn, hypnotic and faintly feral. Belgium’s Daisy Ray follows, serving playful pop-dub riddled with industrial grit, warped hooks and machine hiccups. To finish, wildly experimental ten-piece Export Import tip the whole thing over, spilling ritualistic meltdown jazz, clattering percussion and horn-driven chaos across the room. Flip the slides. Natural Causes begins. Round one brings batsh*t Valentine’s Day havoc for nonconformists, miscreants, mutant lovers, and the happily unclassifiable. 𝙀𝙭𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩 𝙄𝙢𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩 are 10+ Londoners smashing jagged percussion, sputtering electronics, and restless horns into something improvised and brittle. Their music moves through noise, free jazz, experimental rock, ritual sound, industrial, and post-punk rhythms, folding and jerking unpredictably. Their shows feel like music colliding with a ritual. No hooks, no polish, just sharp edges that linger long after you leave. (2. 𝘿𝙖𝙞𝙨𝙮 𝙍𝙖𝙮 is a Belgian producer twisting synths, drum machines, and warped electronics into jagged, restless grooves. Her music moves through experimental electronic, dub, art-punk, lo-fi, glitch, and industrial-tinged textures.
