We are beyond thrilled and proud to announce the upcoming release of our second album, Solved By Walking. To record their new album "Solved By Walking," Carrboro’s Object Hours escaped the metal shed that they use as a practice space and headed to Betty's, the Chapel Hill studio owned by Nick Sanborn and Amelia Meath of Sylvan Esso, during a snowy stretch in the winter of 2025.
They left the studio with their strongest batch of songs yet. Seven songs that each invite the listener to passively listen in and let the riffs guide them on a journey.
Object Hours will be celebrating the release of "Solved By Walking" with a hometown performance at Carrboro's The ArtsCenter on Friday, April 24. Fellow instrumentalists Moms will be opening the show.

@objecthours rule so hard.
Here they are tonight at @fuzzy_needle 🎈
They’re my favorite kinda band to see live. Just pulsating repetitive groove that you can get totally lost in. They’re kinda leather jacket krautrock. But more rock. It’s awesome.
Thanks Fuzzy Needle! Go see more shows in stores!
