“Why nobody gets contemporary dance?” Lecture by Alena Papina Last July, we partnered with @10tasiko to help more people understand performance art. That lecture felt like a big success, and a follow-up has been on our minds ever since — until @pap_pix stepped in. Alena is a dancer, choreographer, and teacher with more than 10 years of experience. Over these years, she has been on a mission to translate the human mind into movement concepts. For this lecture, we’ll try to do it the other way round. What is contemporary dance? When does it become a performance? What happens to dance artists when they go on stage? Do they need stages at all? Even if you’ve barely seen any contemporary dance, Alena will carefully guide you through it to give you a glimpse of her world. Together, we’ll break down all the basics, watch selected pieces, and try to get a bit closer to understanding dance & performance. See you soon at @auditoria_booksbar . February 22, 18:00 (Sunday) 22 Simon Janashia Street Entry fee: 20 GEL Available in EN/RU Claim your seat (link in bio)

When preparing the exhibition, we worked hard to refine the very space surrounding the displayed objects. Our goal was to create a synergy between art and space that builds this continuous experience throughout the whole exhibition. Flowers and metal seemed like perfect mediums for this synergy. Having the same origin, they evolved into something totally different while still being able to complement each other. Set design and floral art: @itsmenastia @tuleneva_ks @dariawierdo Special thanks for the help: @neeespi @greatkinkinthesky @anatolykerman Hurry up to see everything yourself. 1-8 pm today.

Utopia = deepfake In a place where every room asks a question, and every object is searching for its meaning, he appears. Chromochel. Not a hero, not just a character — more like a layer, a reflection, maybe even a shadow. Is he really a human being? Or just a part of the world around him, quietly hanging on the edges? He moves through a space filled with things, with moments frozen in time — touches, looks, stories. His journey feels familiar, like our own search for that perfect place, that dream of a better world. The «Utopia» exhibition isn’t just a collection of things. Every step you take is a balance between hope and the limits we face. It doesn’t give you answers — it invites you to wonder: does utopia really exist, or does it always slip away just when we think we’re close? So step in. Let the art speak to you, and let yourself respond. “Utopia” exhibition: 10-11 May @object_community “Deep fake” performance: 16-17 May @deepfake.performanceee

UTOPIA group exhibition 10-11 May // 1-7 pm // free entrance Explore the delicate balance between utopia and its limits. Every object by one of the 20 artists is a fragment of a narrative about the search for the ideal, the inevitability of disappointment, and the confrontation with unanswered questions, expressed through diverse media ranging from site-specific art and installations to performances, photography, and painting. UTOPIA is a dynamic space where the real and the illusory continuously intertwine, inviting viewers to join the conversation and ask themselves: does utopia exist, or is it merely an elusive mirage? The exhibition will take place in an extraordinary setting — a residential house transformed into a hub and co-living space for artists. You will have a chance to explore the art scattered across the rooms and garden and feel how the space enhances the idea behind every object. // participating artists @drozang  @mmio.re  @velvet.slumber  @mila_kowalski_  @aleksa.ndrpop.kov  @nadiakoikova  @aigulekphoto  @kislova_anich  @oksana.oleksik.art  @goricolo  @veragvo  @dariawierdo  @malurikart  @orlova_pol  @shaftence.sasha  @linden_tar  @kirill_vorontsov  @kristina_ziegenhagel  @apollina.po // produced by @object_community  & @particles_here // curated by @itsmenastia  & @zubodrobitelno // hosted by @_ortachala // drinks by @riznichjj // floral artists @tuleneva_ks @dariawierdo @itsmenastia // poster by @foxhog
