There’s a new IPA in town! The Good for Your Soul IPA is built for spring—bright, fruit-forward, and balanced. Dolcita and Krush hops shine alongside a touch of Citra, bringing out notes of peach, mango, and melon with a smooth, easy finish. We think you’re gonna love it! 📷: @brianchuphotography #IPA #ballardbrewed #seattlebeer #seattlebreweries

Sending a little love your way with the release of the Maibock! This beer celebrates the arrival of spring with a bright, golden take on the traditional German lager style. Lighter in color and body than a Märzen or Doppelbock, this seasonal brew leads with smooth malt character — toasted bread, a touch of honey, and subtle floral notes — before finishing crisp, clean, and exceptionally easy to drink. A perfect beer for longer days and sunnier weather! #maibock #seattlebeers #seattlebreweries

Get ready for our next FREE Live @ Obec show, taking place Saturday, May 9! We have two excellent bands lined up, check them out! Doors at 5:30 Special Guests @ 6pm Oliver Elf Army @ 7pm Headliner Oliver Elf Army consists of Mary, Martin, & Henry. Pulling influences from 80’s New Wave, 70’s stadium metal, and 90’s slacker-punk, the band plays catchy indie-pop songs with whip-smart lyrics about being prescribed the wrong opiates, the Heavens Gate Cult, the idiocy of Ted Nugent, and rich boys dying in expensive muscle cars. Drawing from a blend of 90s alt rock and pop with a splash of 70s classics, opener Special Guests delight in the unexpected. Expect fast-paced rhythm, a few bangers to sing along to and perhaps an unexpected new ear worm in every energy-heavy set. The band features Isaac on drums, Loren on vocals, keys and guitar, Ryan on vocals and bass, and Drew on guitar. Friends at @myballard @visitballard @ballardbrewed @ohsoballard @seasecretshows - we hope you’ll help spread the word!

It’s our favorite harbinger of spring!! And perfect for all the warmer days ahead. Our English Bitter is brewed to be light, refreshing, and wonderfully drinkable. UK hops deliver fruity, spicy aromas with hints of black currant, while biscuity malt adds smooth balance and a crisp finish that keeps you coming back for another sip! #englishbitter #seattlebeer #seattlebreweries

Super excited to share two accomplished Seattle singer-songwriters with you on Friday, April 24 at our popular Live @ Obec artists series! It’s gonna be a really special evening. 🎤 🎶Doors are at ~5:30, show starts at 6pm. FREE! About Amanda Winterhalter ✨ @awinterhalter A life between grey coastlines and ragged mountains gave Amanda Winterhalter a scope for the gothic Americana music she creates with her Seattle-based band. Weaving together threads of 1960s girl group AM pop, gritty indie Americana, and blues-tinged southern rock, her diverse range informs a new Americana that connects with the heart and mind as quickly as the ears. Glide Magazine called her 2019 release What’s This Death “A courageous work of the aching soul that is equally stunning and thought-provoking. Winterhalter showcases head-turning vocals that makes for a fascinating Adele meets Wanda Jackson vocal stew.” About Where’s Beth ✨ @wheresbethmusic Voice and lyrics clear as glass, Where’s Beth (project of Sarabeth Weszely) carries the kind of honesty that makes a room go still. Weszely writes songs with a tender devotion to ordinary life, trusting the smallest details can hold entire emotional worlds. Her sophomore album, Ache Is A Cricket In The Night, moves in tiny weather systems–a fridge that stops humming, a clogged drain gurgling like human pain, strangers pointing out untied shoes in the grocery line, white ants burrowing through wood at dusk–and widens into a reflections on grief, anger, the quiet accumulation of loss, and the ordinary ache of being alive. Where’s Beth is based in Seattle, WA. Produced by @loudercreativeco
