"Masked"
I'm a firm believer in "art comes in many forms". Although the original piece that inspired me to create this short-form comic was on paper (original image on the last slide), having it represented in this format really shines on its meaning!
Emotions come in many forms, they can be ugly, beautiful, painful and so much more, but at the end of the day they are OUR emotions. Until we learn to transmute those negative energies in a positive way, they will weigh on you.
This was one of my earliest images I created whilst on my journey, and to this day its meaning still stands strong!!😄
Last Saturday I had the honour of exhibiting my artwork amongst 49 other talented artists, from poet's to singers, painters to graffiti artists, talented freehand artists, the diversity was endless! 🤯🙌🏾
Everyone in the space was amazing and the energy and vibes were electric the whole day!👏🏽👏🏽
