This semester, @zaneteteresulce has been offering unfiltered look into the OAD design ethos to 2nd year @lmainterjeradizains students.
Moving past theory, students stepped out of the lecture halls and into the rigor of practice, experiencing the tangible results of our design decisions firsthand.
The semester culminated in independent student creations, focused on addressing the complexities of real-life design commissions. It was fascinating to see the students’ diverse approaches: they brought fresh, radical perspectives to both our historical portfolio and the active projects currently on our desks. We are truly proud to see these young designers express their unique worldviews with such creativity and open minds.

Feeling inspired to rise above the clouds at @inspiredlatvia
High above the ground in the heart of Riga, this multi-faceted workspace serves as a catalyst for creative endeavor, designed specifically for the dynamic energy of an advertising agency. We built the core concept around a custom ‘cloud’ vinyl flooring tiles. They add a playful character and serve as a daily reminder that ‘every cloud has a silver lining.’

Transparency
We have always been compelled to explore the themes of transparency and openness, and BPROM is the most recent project where we got the chance to dive deeper.
The main residence and sauna house stand here uninterrupted in a single flow. Both houses are linked by a centuries-old Baltic tradition to position buildings on the same axis. This orientation created the opportunity for us to introduce another element - a window portal.
Standing on the far back of the main residence, the observer’s view cuts through the sauna house. Two perfectly round windows align, creating a visual wormhole that frames the forest beyond.

SK17 façade
We are thrilled to see SK17 reach another defining milestone: the façade installation has officially begun. Crafted from Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete, the façade offers exceptional durability while retaining the raw, characteristic texture of traditional concrete. As a lightweight and more elastic alternative, this material allows the architecture to embrace complex geometries that would be impossible with standard concrete.

Yet, behind the exceptional work ethic, determination and ability to get things done is person with big heart.
Liva sparks spirited conversations at our lunch table and never hesitates to offer a helping hand. She truly sees the best in all of us, and with all her heart wishes for others to succeed. Liva has built unwavering trust among her colleagues, and she continues to inspire us to become better versions of ourselves, day by day.

With work progressing rapidly, we are savoring every detail here. The holistic human-centered concept is revealing itself in building’s harmonious proportions. The layout of the encloused courtyard already suggests a vibrant social energy. You can truly feel the building’s depth and volume - by inviting natural light into the spa via a large skylight, we create a multi-dimensional interplay between floors. The flawless execution of the concrete structure is an impressive achievement: a shout-out to our construction partners ‘3A’.
Noble is a residential development in the seaside resort town Jurmala, Latvia, nestled amidst rugged pine-covered dunes, the sea, and the area’s historic summer villas. The vision is to create a residential project that fully prioritizes the well-being of its end users through a biophilic connection to nature, curated communal spaces, and immersive sensory experiences. A fresh vision of what a modern, sustainable workspace can be. This is the second time working with Inspired creative agency. For us, creating an office that reflects their ability to rise above the clouds to see the bigger picture has been an exciting challenge.
The space feels raw - a conscious decision to leave the construction process exposed, the ventilation systems visible. Warm wooden furniture and hemp concrete walls are contrasted by synthetic fabrics to provoke a dialogue between ecological responsibility and modern innovation.

A clinic with the atmosphere of a SPA.
This clinic is designed to be experienced in a fluid motion. As clients enter the space, they are guided along a forward-moving, intuitive path that transforms the doctor’s visit into a pleasant process. Rounded forms and hidden lights all work together to calm the mind, and soothe visitor’s nervous system.
Every detail here aligns with the monochrome palette of cream and beige. From walls to window trims and piping, it all tells the same story. That this the place where you come to take care of yourself, where you will be taken care of.
The space is buzzing with energy. The final refinements are imminent and we are eager to reveal and see for ourselves the finished result soon.
As nature awakens with the arrival of spring, this summer residence is also coming into its own.
A compact vacation home that consists of two separate units, each a fully functioning residence. With an integrated sauna, the home offers a year-round retreat for a city-dwelling family.
The structure’s unique position against the natural slope allows it to dissolve into the landscape. Roofs, which will soon be overgrown with wild grasses, only emphasize this illusion. It was important that we use natural materials both inside and on the exterior. Wood is the primary material used throughout, with veneer and ceramic finishes within.
Step by step, @grizindarzs is emerging as a regional landmark. With its freshly installed signage, this creative city makes a definitive statement to everyone crossing the nearby bridge. We are glad to see the vision coming to life, even if the road ahead is still unfolding.
Situated at the intersection of the industrial and the urban, the site holds enormous potential. Connectivity is effortless: the train stops right at its doorstep. Already we can see that the tenant mix is evolving naturally, from creative offices and cafes to multifunctional floors. We are on the right path, and while the goal is yet to be reached, we feel true pride in what has been achieved.
