Savannah Guthrie, a devoted Wordle player, has been announced as the host of a new show that will bring the online game to life.
On Monday, May 11, Jimmy Fallon stopped by TODAY to make the grand announcement and shared that he will be an executive producer of the “Wordle” game show, along with The New York Times.
Last month, our colleagues at @nytmag published a list of the 30 greatest living American songwriters. The through line, of course, is each songwriter’s ability to tell a story through evocative lyrics, wordplay and line delivery. We thought it wasn’t so different from what our @nytgames crossword constructors do every day, only in a grid instead of in song.
Three of the songwriters on the list were up for testing our theory and Monday through Wednesday this week, we released a Mini Crossword made by one of the greatest living American songwriters. Solve them all free at the link in our bio.
