Congratulations to our newest Emergency Service Unit K9 graduates!
These K9s and their handlers went through rigorous training to protect our city.
Each dog is named after a member we lost in the line of duty, including on 9/11.
We will never forget their service.
This week, thousands gathered on the National Mall for the 38th Annual @NLEOMF Candlelight Vigil.
The names of 41 more fallen NYPD members, including Detective Didarul Islam, are now etched on the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial.
We will never forget their sacrifice.

The NYPD is crushing it when it comes to taking illegal mopeds and scooters off our streets.
So far this year, the NYPD has seized over 5,700 of these dangerous, illegal vehicles — and we are not letting up.
Last week, members from our Emergency Service Unit and patrol officers rescued a woman in crisis at the top of a Brooklyn high-rise.
Despite the risks, our officers worked together to use their training and compassion to bring her to safety.
Prom season is almost here!
For the last 12 years, the NYPD has partnered with the @nycpolicefdtn to help fit NYC students with gowns, suits, shoes, and accessories for the big night.
They finished off with a runway show to try out the finished look.
See something. Say something.
Two suspects were arrested, and eight stolen tires and rims were recovered when an observant New Yorker spotted thieves up to no good in Queens.
Our officers showed up, investigated, and tracked them down before they could get away.
Celebrating the mothers of the Finest!
Being a mom is tough, and it's even tougher when you're protecting NYC.
Sergeant Bukowiecki's love, care, and dedication inspired her son, Officer Pagan to follow her footsteps.
Watch out for these scammers!
Thieves across the city are targeting elderly victims by pretending to offer gifts while stealing their real, expensive jewelry.
If you or someone you know has been a victim of these crimes, call 911 to file a report.
Leave the donuts to us.
When a brazen driver was endangering New Yorkers and tourists in the heart of NYC, our NYPD 17th Precinct cops put an end to it.
Not only did our cops put an end to it, but they also found an illegal firearm inside of that car.
This behavior won't go away unless there are real repercussions in the criminal justice system. The NYPD will continue to dedicate resources to stop these reckless events.
