Yesterday, on the final day of Police Week, RRT volunteers were privileged to serve refreshments to the Honor Guard at the National Peace Officers’ Memorial Service at the Capitol, standing alongside those paying tribute to the courage, sacrifice, and lasting legacy of our fallen officers.

Today, we observe Peace Officers Memorial Day, a day to honor the federal, state, and local law enforcement officers who made the ultimate sacrifice, and those who carry the physical and emotional scars of service in the line of duty.
This past week, officers from the Ormond Beach Police Department rode in the Police Unity Tour, an intensive three-day, 250+ mile journey fueled by remembrance, brotherhood, and purpose. Every mile ridden is meant to honor the names, stories, and sacrifices of our fallen officers.
Behind every badge is a family, a team, and a community forever changed by loss. Today, and every day, we remember them not only for how they died, but for how they lived.
