When I go to war… MY SQUAD GOES WITH ME!! 😤 If you had told me a couple of years ago that I’d be part of anything connected to a national team, I would’ve said you were lying. But here we are, past the first obstacle, and making history together. To my Fairies, I know we didn’t get a chance to properly debrief (logistics and all), but I just want to say… WE DID THAT SH*T!!! It feels like only yesterday we were holding tryouts and welcoming everyone to camp. In just a few short months, we’ve built something truly special. We went to Cairo and showed the continent they need to come correct when they face us. And we claimed our spoils; the FIRST EVER IFAF African Flag Championship 🏆. For those of us who were there, it’s hard to put into words the intensity, the excitement, and the rollercoaster of emotions we lived through. The highs and lows, the battles on that field, I wouldn’t trade a single one of you 12 players or coaches who represented 🇳🇬. (Especially @beyondmaka for making my job 10 times easier, couldn’t do it without you) Thank you to our GM, @bobbyokereke , for making this dream a reality. Thank you to @nafa_ng and @nafa.gems , especially to @1babse , @davidroobatolu , and @trulaw2022 — for putting this team together and supporting us at every step of the way. Thank you to Egypt @efafeg for hosting a fantastic tournament that we can all be proud of. This is just the beginning. There’s still a long road ahead, but we’re ready. I had a long speech that I was gonna put here about things I had overcome and experiences I had in the past year…………but I’m just thankful for the journey I'm on and the people I get to share it with. 🎈

Its been long tho……… but through all the bumps, the trial and errors, the arguments on calls with NAFDAC, @crinkles_official finally made it into our first supermarket @reneesupermarket , and there's only on direction to go from here!
