In my latest YouTube episode, The Truth About Natural Fragrance, I’m chatting with @rebeccajaquest from @nyitacollection about what natural fragrance actually means - and why it can cost more (but also why price isn’t always proof of quality).
A few reasons it may be pricier:
🌱 Raw materials: Some naturals take huge amounts of plant material to produce tiny quantities of oil.
🌱 Sourcing and traceability: When brands pay for better farming practices, fairer supply chains and documentation, costs rise.
🌱 Formulation challenges: Naturals can be harder to stabilise and balance - so development can take longer.
🌱 Small runs: Many are produced in smaller batches, which can push unit costs up.
But: natural isn’t automatically better - and expensive doesn’t always mean transparent. That’s why this conversation matters!!
