Little Dynasty aka Eric Banta is owner and operator of Names You Can Trust and Independent Grand in Brooklyn, NY. Through the Names You Can Trust record label, he has released over 100 different projects on vinyl from all over the globe. The de facto NYCT in-house mixing engineer, LD has also produced and recorded under alias’ Greenwood Rhythm Coalition, Los Taxis, Beverley Road All Stars & NY Hustlers. LD has promoted, curated & DJ’d countless musical events and parties over the last 25 years that focus on a blend of vintage Tropical vinyl and New York influenced sounds from the 1960s until now.

Our 2026 summer season will be at a new yard space in the cozy confines of East Flatbush / Canarsie.
We test ran the spot last Fall and the vibe check passed. This is the best alternate / upgrade / pivot from the shuttered but legendary original Woodshop space that hosted us for 9 years. This summer we have an opportunity for a new home so let’s show and prove shall we:)

First TP&F session since last summer coming in just two short weeks, ya'll. April 23 at a new location @dangerdangerbar in Bushwick. Great bar, sound and atmosphere at DD for us all to get down. Very pleased to announce a brand new upcoming record on Names You Can Trust and corresponding release party with the great @yeisonlandero , grandson to acordeón legend, Andrés Landero (naturally)…also a tremendous cumbiambero in his own right! We were lucky to produce and record Yeison with his touring conjunto last summer in upstate Kingston @npyrecordingservices and have a proper little vinyl package on the way. More on the recording and 45 as we inch closure to the release, but for now please save the date and plan to celebrate this new release with NYCT alongside a super, we mean superrrr, crew of musical marvels at TV Eye next month in May.
