Teaming up with a squad of quirky, spell-slinging roller derby girls, she embarks on a hilarious journey from zeroes to heroes, determined to conquer the derby scene and prove that even without magic, She’s got what it takes to win it all.”
Making animation takes a village and Wheels & Roses was no exception!!! What a roller coaster ride (in the best way) this journey has been so far. It's been amazingly challenging (I personally have learned sm), and so incredibly rewarding. Caring about a personal project this much almost feels scary, but having others along the journey who care just as much makes all the difference. From the production team to the voice actors, every. Single. Person. MATTERED.
Animation is made up of thousands (literal) decisions, and I feel so privelledged to be able to have made something from the heart with amazing people at Orange Blossom and NuBoom Studios.

WE'RE SO EXCITED TO FINALLY SHARE OUR TEASER TRAILER WITH THE WORLD!!! After our successful Kickstarter campaign in 2024, @OrangeBlossom__Official and @NuBoomStudios have been workin' our butts off to complete this project!!!
I really felt like we got to create something from the heart.
I want to say a HUGE THANK YOU to the the creators on team Orange Blossom and NuBoom. It truly took a village to make our proof of concept short (you'll see our credits when the full animated short drops lol).
This story, for me, has been 6 years in the making.
Wheels & Roses has faced so many obstacles, especially being a queer project (maybe one day i'll spill the tea on how many people have told me to just ~hide~ the fact WNR is queer) but we're here now.
