I had the best time this weekend at @nttbfest 💚🩷🩵🧡💜
This was my first festival after the release of my debut YA Fantasy novel MIDNIGHT ON THE CELESTIAL. Seeing children holding my book less than a week after my launch was surreal. Highlights include:
- Doing my first ever panels with incredible authors I admire
- Finding out exactly how many authors can fit in an elevator
- Signing copies of my book on the first day and finding out every single one of them sold
- Having kids tell me they are excited for my book
- Realizing the “Imposter Syndrome” panel was not about me personally, but my FMC 🤣
- Sharing the experience with family members who cheered me on
I am so grateful to this festival for showing me the excitement and passion of young readers. I truly hope to visit again next year!

Scholastic is coming to #NTTBF this Saturday, March 7 at the Irving Convention Center! Meet Scholastic authors in panels and fun activities, including keynotes, R.L. Stine and Jasmine Warga at 9 a.m.
Stop by their booth for a chance to pick up free advance reader copies of soon-to-be released titles!

Reminder that the Irving Convention Center is a cashless facility! This means that concessions and the Copper Cafe on the 2nd floor do not take cash. They will take credit and debit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay and most prepaid gift cards.
Who will take cash? The Talking Animals Book Store, the NTTBF Swag Shop and the food trucks coming to the event.
You may still want to ask first before ordering at the food trucks!

Let’s talk about free books!
Speed Dating with a Book (YA) and Book Buddies (MG) takes place in the Exhibit Hall (on the opposite end from the book store) starting at 8 a.m.
Wristbands/tickets will be given out as you enter the activity. In this event at #NTTBF, teens and tweens will have the chance to pick one free book from a selection of authors visiting NTTBF while supplies last!

R.L. Stine is our only Ticketed Author for #NTTBF 2026!
Tickets will be handed out at the Irving Library Outreach Van, outside the Irving Convention Center, starting at 7:45 a.m. the morning of March 7.
Please bring no more than 3 books for each author to be signed per turn in a singing line.
