IT’S FINALLY HERE!!!! I’ve been talking about YOUNG WORLD for months; in all the best ways, this book is like nothing else I’ve seen in YA—it’s groundbreaking, smart, and just so damn fun!
Hooray for @somanc and @revoltingyouthofficial
Go fetch it today at your favorite indie bookstore! I just bought mine @talkinganimalsbooks and they have more!
A little late to the post, but it’s
an absolute honor to be chosen by Library Journal as a Mover and Shaker, and I’m grateful to be for included with some incredible librarians.
While my job title no longer is “school librarian”, in my 💙 and my service, I’ll be a librarian forever.
If you didn’t vote early, today’s the day to elect Grapevine Colleyville ISD school board members who 1. DON’T take $$$ from Patriot Mobile 2. DO actually care about kids AND public education 3. DON’T participate in actions that get our district written up in the NYT, NBC News, or become the subject of a dedicated podcast.
GCISD community people, let’s go elect school board members without political agendas and who will put kids first.
I proudly support Matthew, Lindsey, and Darrell and hope you will, too.
For me, trips to LA are usually about books, but it’s always about besties. What an honor and joy it is to get to see darlings and get to celebrate this wonderful life with them. 💙
A HUGE congratulations to our very own LS Professor Dr. Rose Brock for being named this year’s recipient of the 2026 Jack Alton Strawn Standing TALL Award! Dr. Rose Brock’s commitment to literacy, accessibility, and school librarianship know no bounds and we are so fortunate to have such a dedicated mentor that prepares our future school librarians to lead with heart and put kids at the forefront of school library programming. Congratulations, Dr. Brock! We are so proud of you!! 🧡🎉📚🐾
@rutasepetysauthor gives good book mail. 😉
All silliness aside, I am over the moon to get to read Ruta’s newest (and her first historical fiction for adults). In this lit professor’s opinion, no one does it better. Period.
