✨Natalia through a lens ✨ Berlin has presented me with the opportunity to indulge in some beautiful side quests! Meeting creative people full of love, joy, and seeing the beauty in me that I never see. Creating art with friends is a privilege and a pleasure. Thank you so so much to the amazing @oumou.tri (Football Fotos) and @priscillanoir (Graffiti Photos) for showing different sides of me through art and photography. 💕🫶🏾✨📸

“*300 im Monat sind Respektlos* “ Well, it looks like it’s time for me to buy my first German newspaper, *Welt am Sonntag*! I had the pleasure of being interviewed by @jandams.privat It was a great and entertaining experience to be interviewed by Jan. I had the chance to share my perspective and talk about the reality of my life as a professional women’s football player in Germany. I go into these topics in detail on my podcast, @foreigner_footy_files and I’ll continue to use my voice to raise awareness and advocate for those who aren’t being heard. Women’s football is entertaining, professional, beautiful, fun, and worth the money and treatment we’re fighting tirelessly for. The investment will always pay off; the proof of this is already evident at several clubs. Whether supported by the men’s teams (which, unfortunately, is also a factor) or directly funded—success comes where women are truly supported and believed in. Thank you again Jan for bringing this discussion to the public eye!

A few weeks ago I got to join @npinky on her podcast @foreigner_footy_files in Berlin!! You know I’m a sucker for a full circle moment and this was no exception 😌 Nat and I played club soccer together as teenagers in Pennsylvania, and in August we managed to get @sydmcnutt over from New York to join us for a mini FC Delco reunion in Berlin. 12 years later and we’re exactly the same yet SO DIFFERENT 😂 you know what I mean. Still complete goofs but with jobs? And purpose and some actual self confidence lol. When you leave the US (alone) so soon after college, you don’t have friends or family around you who just get you. You don’t have that familiarity and nostalgia to fall back on because you have to proactively go make new friends all the time and start from zero when each friend moves on to another country. Since we both live abroad and don’t see ourselves moving back to the US anytime soon, Nat and I are on the same page in many ways, and we both work in helping professions! Nat’s been casually playing pro soccer all around the world for the last 5 years AND helping countless kids and families as a social worker. She’s also fluent in German 💅🏻 This whole episode started when I told Nat that I recently played soccer again but everyone on the field was silent. We had never played together before and had no idea about the others’ skills or preferences. Turns out secks and soccer have a lot more in common than you think! In this episode we discuss how learning how to communicate in another language makes you less of a people pleaser, how our conservative backgrounds informed how we *didn’t* want to go about relationships, and how the lack of open dialogue about secks hurts our clients. Can’t wait to come back to Berlin when the weather’s warmer and blabber on for hours on your couch!
