Marsh and I started this one nearly two years ago. A couple long days locked in away in my studio together searching for that magical moment - and honestly, we couldn’t find it then!
It wasn’t until we passed it back and forth over the next year that it finally clicked. Somehow, we landed on something that feels like it fits with the rest of the music we’ve written together. This track feels like a return. A celebration.
Making music with Tom has always come easy, and I love that what we create together has become this third sound, this third world - different from the music we make individually.
We’ve known each other for over a decade now. We met through music, grew through music, and I’ll never forget those endless phone calls back in the day just trying to figure out how to make a life doing what we love. It’s surreal to be living in it now, and still being able to Come Together (😉) to create in the same world we started building back then.
Nemora feels like a moment of arrival. A chance to look back and celebrate. I obsessed over EVERY detail of this one, painstakingly. The intro, the piano, the balance, the energy. I couldn’t be more proud of how it turned out.
And seeing it have 25,000+ plays on Spotify in under a day is absolutely humbling. Your support means the world to us, and we wouldn’t get to do any of this without you guys.
