I snapped some photos of what I thought encapsulates āParadise Hillsā. Photos that youāll look at and have a sense of familiarity and maybe even nostalgia. Iām thinking of making this a series as I know there are many more things and places that would make you think of Paradise Hills. #sandiego #92114 #paradisehills #sd #california #x100v #fujix100v
Imagine youāre a photographer hogging a whole spot at #sdsu for 30+ minutes with other photographers and parents telling you to stop being so inconsiderate just for your photos to be mid. Crazy that people were waiting for 30 minutes+ for #hepnerhall
Anyways, thank you @andrealopez0131 for letting me take your grad photos š¤š½š«”

Found this Minolta Maxxum 7000 at the swap meet for 1$. Guy sold it to me with 4 lenses (70-200, 35-70, 50mm, 20mm) with UV filters. Had no idea if it worked, so threw some fresh batteries in and a roll of Ultramax 400. Hereās the results of that test roll. Dev and scanned same day by the always amazing @imstill.developing .
Iām extremely surprised with the sharpness and how well the camera worked. Autofocus is pretty quick considering how old the camera is, and everything feels really solid. Apparently this camera is the predecessor to the modern Sony line of mirrorless cameras. Supposedly, the proprietary auto focus system of this camera was purchased by Sony and in their alpha DSLR line. Iām excited to shoot more with this camera and the different lenses.

Found this Olympus Trip AF 50 at a local thrift store for 5$. Last date on the back was 1998 and the batteries that were corroded away looked like they were from 1998. I had no idea if the camera worked or not, but I threw in some cheap Fuji 200 and snapped away. Here are the results from that test roll. Not sure why some of the shots turned out double exposed, but I think itās kinda cool. Itās now my everyday walk around 35mm film camera. Oh and peep the time stamps on the photos

Finally getting around to posting some of the photos I took from our trip to Kauai. The trip marked a pretty significant personal achievement for me. Iāve been dealing with a herniated disc/sciatica for the past 6 months and itās been extremely painful and debilitating. I couldnāt walk, stand, sit; it even hurt to sleep. But for our anniversary, I was able to fly 5 hours to Hawaii and enjoy literal paradise. Swimming with turtles, seeing the Napali coast, Waimea canyon, it all meant more to me because I was able to appreciate all of the beauty and creation.
I think the trip meant that much more because I was able to take everything in, not taking my health for granted. I didnāt take as many photos as I thought I would, mainly because I was so happy to be able to walk around and enjoy the trip. We all take little things like walking, sitting, and laying down for granted, so once in a while, take the time to appreciate the things you have because one day, something may happen and your life could get completely turned upside down.
I did take some on film that I want to post as well, so I apologize in advance for the spam š
A little point and shoot action with a film camera that I found at my parentsā house. I think itās from when I was a kid lol
