As some of you know already. Over christmas we lost my good friend Jacob to a long struggle with mental health. I haven’t really felt myself since and it’s been difficult carrying on “business as usual”. So I tried to think of something I could do to honour him. @mindcharity is a cause that is so close to my heart, having offered services that not only helped me through some of the darkest periods of my life, but also helped me change my thinking and outlook toward life. One of the best ideas I came up with was to put on an event to raise money for mind, in the hopes that more people will be able to access their services and hopefully prevent another family or group of loved ones from being in our current situation now. The artists on this lineup have all very kindly volunteered to play and Gut Level have given us the venue so we can try and raise as much money as possible. My heart is so full from the response to this, Let’s raise as much as we possibly can for Jacob and for everyone that we’ve lost to mental health struggles.
