📍We'd love to hear from creators based in Nottinghamshire who can actively create content before the day, and attend the 2026 Nottinghamshire County Show at Newark Showground on Saturday 9 May.

If you entered one of the many, many competitions at this year's Nottinghamshire County Show, we'd like to say the biggest "thank you" to all of you! ❤️
That you took the time to enter, whether it was livestock, Make, Bake & Grow, equine, farriery or floral art competitions, thank you so much.
🌞 Your prized exhibits were a treat for the thousands of attendees who visited Newark Showground on what was a glorious day - well, until about 4.30pm that is, when the heavens opened!
If you picked up a winning rosette or two - well done! 🏵️ If not, we hope you can come back next year and try again. Either way, your participation means everything - without you, the show wouldn't be what it is.

We had a great time being part of another fantastic Nottinghamshire County Show. There was so much going on, and it was lovely to see so many people out enjoying the day.
Our volunteers were out and about all day, helping with a few minor injuries, people feeling dehydrated or worn out, and a handful of riding incidents where horses stopped unexpectedly at jumps.
Everyone was checked over by our paramedics and we’re happy to say all were absolutely fine
A huge shout-out to our Stop the Bleed team, who spoke to over 100 people during the day - showing just how simple actions can make a life-saving difference
Thank you to the organisers, fellow exhibitors, and everyone who stopped to say hello or have a chat — we really enjoyed the event and the great atmosphere.
Already looking forward to the next one! 💚

Phew! Another amazing day @nottscountyshow 🏆 there’s truly something for everyone! From shopping to food to community zones and absolutely everything in between its day out everyone can enjoy!
This year, we enjoyed making pork, strawberry and sage pasties with @ladies_in_pigs 🐷 then we watched @knightsofnottingham 🏰 and we even walked alpacas 🦙
There’s so much to see and do from loads of gorgeous, independent brands and businesses to big names we all know and love.
Add in, all the animals and it’s a family day out not to be missed! We especially love the heavy horse showing and the young handler sheep and pig handling.
Head to the Community Zone and you’ll find tennis, smoothie bikes, rowing machines, flower/seed planting, girl guiding and even search and rescue dogs!
Finally, can we talk about the shopping?! Foodies and shopaholics are all catered for from jewellery to freshly made cookies and LOADS of plants too…be prepared to shop until you drop!!
Now you know, I’ll see you there next year (8th May 2027)
