The year started off sadder than ever and ended with an after midnight plate of caviar topped chicken nuggets a couple days before the last day of the year.
Hoping to land somewhere in the middle for 2026 bc I can’t take any more deaths in my life & I can’t regularly be stayin up past midnight like that. I’m an 8-9 hours of 💤 a night kinda girl.
I have a million goals I’ll be sharing with the world bc that’s just what I do, so stay tuned. If you inserted any small amount of joy into my life in 2025, I thank you from the deepest parts of my heart. Happy New Year. Let’s get this one right.

Three days in the literal trenches, we were armed with a shared dedication to creating the best visuals.
We endured….
A lot of jokes.
An overload of caffeine and sugar.
A ton of lending gear and knowledge.
Zero WiFi.
Kidnapped tables.
Unending generator humming.
Sore AF feet and hands.
Lost sleep.
Bumped tables, tumbling gimbals.
Scrambled schedules.
Advil popped like candy.
Constant running.
Andy’s flesh colored fanny pack.
And connection; new friendships were forged in a temporary far-too-small 10x20 media tent. (F those cords ‘n backpacks on the ground).
And in the end, this crew managed to compile a massive catalog of fine artwork for @bayfestsd to encapsulate three days of madness and magic on Mission Bay.
I’d gratefully work with any one of these good humans again. And each of them has a spot ‘round our family dinner table and backyard bonfire.

Powur World 2025 - Shift Happens ➡️
The last 3 days were filled with inspiration, excitement, and tears of love and joy. The Powur community will always be one of my favorites to serve. There are countless people in this organization with deep rooted dedication to serving others and making the world a better place. The last 2 days of the event were a LIVE broadcast from Powur Studio in Carlsbad, CA. With over 40 people attending live, and hundreds tuning in on Zoom throughout the weekend.
Events bring people together, but also take a village behind the scenes:
- Our 12-member production team locked in to support throughout the chaos of navigating constant “plot twists”, tech challenges, and me jinxing everything. 😅 So blessed to have done so many events already together, and looking forward to the ones ahead!
- Our Powur corporate team created and designed the content - leaving people with a deeper understanding of the future of solar, and hearts filled with love and fired up with purpose. This Powur World was particularly emotional with so many transitions in the last year. Most of the tears shed were in reflection on what we’ve built together and gratitude for the team behind it all. Things are changing. But we’ll always have this time to look back on, knowing they were some of the best years. We have so much to be grateful for. Most importantly, each other.
- Our top leaders and passionate community members came on stage to present, share their stories, insights, and reasons why with everyone in attendance. We had seasoned presenters, and people who had never set foot on a stage like this before, but each one brought their unique gifts to the event. You are all stars in my eyes!

It’s not always easy, especially in the solar industry, but the rewards are worth it. 💪 Sometimes, we just need to pause and realize we’re living the life we once dreamed of, or even the life others aspire to. 🙏
