🚨 NEW SCULPT ALERT - [N3KO]
Excited to share the journey of creating my 3rd cat-themed sculpt, NekoNekoNeko (or N3ko for short)! My goal was to design a cute and versatile sculpt that I could resculpt and reimagine in many ways while staying true to my love for cat themes. The base, as always, is hand-sculpted from clay to keep that pure, personal touch.
I’ve just completed the first series of N3ko sculpts, and I’m excited to announce their release this weekend through a fulfillment sale—stay tuned! If you attended The Grand Lason 3 two weeks ago, you might already have a hint of what’s coming. Heads up: they’re super cute! I’m also planning a giveaway for these new sculpts, so keep an eye out for more updates!

BEFORE NONEKOMATA, THERE WAS BAKENEKO – THE ORIGIN.

I was working with a new sculpt for quite some time now. It was meant to be an evolution to my first ever sculpt, the Nonekomata. But during the actual
sculpting process, I was realizing that the look was somewhat like the younger version of Nonekomata. And then I fully realized it, this new sculpt will be the origin. I called it Bakeneko.
Bakeneko is actually another cat yokai from the japanese myth. They said that if a cat lives for a long time, it will eventually transform into a bakeneko. It has shape shifting abilities and can transform into a human (maybe you’ll see a new sculpt that looks like the tranformed form of the Bakeneko, like✨).

From the creator of GMK Mictlan, GMK Gurokawa is the second set from @vheissudotme inspired by the Gurokawa aesthetic that mixes cute visuals with grotesque horror. Think Happy Tree Friends meets Cult of the Lamb. The set rides that eerie tension with mirrored novelties, soft pastels, and unsettling symmetry. It’s also the first GMK set with UV-printed gradients and a fully themeable design, letting you flip between horror and cute depending on your build.
The vibe hit me so hard I had to reimagine my original Bakeneko into a new sculpt: Bakeneko Z. A mix of Gurokawa’s creepy-cute energy and the Bakeneko’s essence, bringing a whole new creature to life. Huge thanks to V for another killer collab.

In this timeline, the Bakeneko never grew into the same yokai you remember. Instead, it was shaped by darker rituals, a playful yet eerie charm. Drawing from Cult of the Lamb’s unsettling world and @vheissudotme ’s Gurokawa aesthetic.
This isn’t just an evolution. It’s a glimpse into what could have been. A sibling of the Nonekomata, born from the same roots but wandering a stranger, cuter, darker path.
Its first edition emerges this weekend.
A piece of the multiverse brought to life.

It’s been over two years since I released my first copper cold cast, the Nonekomata Clocktower. Good thing I still have the same copper powder and tools I used back then. This weekend, the Bakeneko gets the copper treatment too. Can’t wait to bring this one to life.
