This is the Manta by Bowl and Alexotos Probably the most daring design I've seen in a long time and somehow still elegant. Think MatrixLab-level innovation, but taken in a completely different direction. This isn't refinement. This is a statement. The raw machine finish on my unit is aluminum with clearcoat and raw copper weight... That's something else entirely. You can see the machining texture, the material doing its thing, nothing to hide, nothing to fake. In my opinion, it might be the most special colorway they've released. Sound and feel are genuinely excellent, but with a caveat. Skip the socket gasket mount. It doesn't do the board any favors. Grommet and O-ring, though? Both work beautifully. Consistent, satisfying, and very adaptable depending on how firm or flexible you want the experience. I've tried it with TTC x PT Blacks and HMX Hyacinth and it holds up across all of them.
