“After the Hunt” is in CINEMAS worldwide today!!! The poster was in a lot of tube stations and I tried to take as many pictures as possible without being obnoxious about it but I was obnoxious about it. I love London and I love that this film is out in the whole world now. Here’s some more BTS :)
“After the Hunt” is in select theatres today (worldwide 10/17). I wish I could go back and tell the girl writing this film in her studio apartment on a dying laptop with little to no idea where her life was going what it would become. Or maybe that would’ve ruined it, I don’t know. What I do know is grateful doesn’t even begin to describe it, and lucky is an understatement. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: it all started with @sydneyblanke and @allanmichael81 , @joycechoi_ and the rest of the Imagine team; @amazonmgmstudios and CAA, and it is all possible—was all possible—because of Luca Guadagnino and this insane, generous, stupidly talented cast. I still can’t believe this is happening. 💛Go see it on film! Okay?!!!??
Made an actual, real live film. Made some perfect, wonderful friends. Made @allanmichael81 wish he had selective hearing for when I needed undue (and due) attention. Made nothing happen without @sydneyblanke ; without *thee* Luca Guadagnino, without everyone—everyone who signed on (Imagine, Amazon.com), who championed, worked overtime, made 10000 oat milk cappuccinos and got tiny little cakes from healthy yummies for my punk ass. I am so grateful.
Grateful doesn’t even begin to cover it. I am shaking as I write this and I also burnt two pieces of cheese toast while trying to figure out how to format this post so needless to say: I am a mess. A grateful, lucky, happy mess. The amount of talent that has come to bear on this project is…unreal. Surreal. I feel so lucky. So, so lucky. I’d say dreams do come true but I never dared dream of something like this. 🚀🚀🚀 Thank you, thank you, thank you.
