Introducing @bellabeautebar x me Coalescence palette. The word means: the joining or merging of elements to form one mass of whole. This palette was born out of my open collab #ShadeCascade that is all about layering and mixing eyeshadows to make a brand new shade. Coalescence is a take on that while reflecting all my favorite ways to play with makeup. More to come in the next week! I will be sharing swatches on here tomorrow, and you will start seeing content from lots of different creators very soon. You can also check out my Youtube video that goes more in depth, both in theme as well as swatches. I quickly want to shout out @badtothebrow aka Milly for designing this palette cover. She took my vision and turned it into a work of art! I wanted something that reflected the elements coming together, but that was also a play on how we draw atomic structure. Coalescence Eye Swatches @bellabeautebar x me Coalescence launches August 29th at 12pm EST (code NOOPUR) In addition to the other swatches I’ve done, I wanted to do some eye swatches of all the shimmers (and satin). I feel like eye swatches really showcase shifts and multicolored sparkles best, but they are such a pain to do! The palette eye swatches are first, and the single shadows are the last 4 slides. Harmony - sheer purple base and shifts blue-purple-pink-peach with additional purple sparkles throughout. Flora - pinky neutral metallic that is super sparkly and smooth. Agni - holochrome with a grey base and shifts pink-orange-gold. Balance - super sheer base and a mix of green-pink shifting sparkles as well as blue-purple sparkles. Dissonance - super sheer light olive base with silver sparkles and orange-gold shifting sparkles mixed in. Jal - grey base with glowing blue ultra fine sparkles and additional icy-silver diamond like sparkles mixed in. Fauna - chocolate brown satin. Crystallize - spicy neutral with a sheer tan base with muted green, blue, and gold sparkles. Refraction - holo shimmer with a chocolate brown base and additional icy-silver diamond like sparkles Aurora - vibrant magenta base and shifts green-blue-purple Radioactive - vibrant lime green base and shifts red-orange-yellow-chartreuse

Coalescence Swatches Here are my swatches of @bellabeautebar x me in different settings/lighting. The second photo goes into detail about my vision with this palette :) There are 9 mattes, 5 special shimmers, 1 sparkly metallic, and 1 satin. The mattes are mostly on the muted side to let the shimmers shine since I often like to do my makeup that way. But there are still a few pops of color to keep things fun! Bhoomi and Vayu are the two more neutral mattes and you can actually mix them with some of the more colorful mattes to mute them down - my Youtube video shows you some options for that. I included Fauna and Flora (the satin and regular shimmer) as bases to do #shadecascade combos, but you can also use them on their own ofc. I show how I like to use them as bases in my YT video. The 5 special shimmers are all so fun! None of them are super squishy or flakey, but a couple do have a little texture that will smooth out once applied. A lot of them are pretty dimensional with fun multicolored sparkles. Several of them are on the sheer side so they also layer really well over different mattes to play with color. I also wanna mention that the single shadows (last photo) launching with this palette were created with the palette in mind and really go with the mattes! Kryptein Supernova Palette @krypteincosmetics sent me this in PR. This is the first 16 pan palette from the brand! It has an even number of mattes and shimmers, and is magnetic. The mattes are the beautiful Kryptein quality - buttery soft, a little powdery, super pigmented, and easy to blend. My purple matte had a bit of discoloration on the top, but after swatching it went away. The shimmers are also the usual Kryptein formula. If you are familiar with the brand you will know that their shimmers can be a bit emollient and soft, but not super oily in this palette. Some of them were a bit more textured, but could be smoothed out with some pressure. The rest of the shimmers were more of a small-medium particle size. Overall this is a beautiful deeper color story, and I’m excited to play around with it! #eyeshadowpalette #indiemakeup

WhatsUp Beauty Skyfire Palette @whatsupbeauty sent me this in PR. My affl code is NOOPUR This new palette launched last week and it follows the format of previous palettes from the brand. It’s a compact 12 pan, that’s also magnetic! I find that these palettes are great for travel for that reason because you can mix and match shades into a compact sleeve. I feel like Whats Up Beauty really excels at making “wearable” colorful palettes with spicy neutrals. For people who maybe want to start dipping their toes into color without feeling intimidated. That’s what the color story feels like. The mattes are such a unique formula amongst indie brands - I wonder if this is because they manufacture their palettes in Italy. They are pigmented but on the thinner side, which makes them very buildable and it’s easy to achieve a soft wash of color with their mattes. The shimmers are on the softer side, but not super emollient or squishy. They have a small-medium particle size and apply smoothly but are still really sparkly. Nomad Greek Odyssey @nomadcosmetics sent me this for paid swatches. This is launching April 27th at 5pm EST and you can use my affl code NOOPUR to save The next destination for Nomad is Greece and this palette absolutely makes me think of it!! The mattes are the usual good buttery Nomad quality in an assortment of blues, greens, and greys. I do wish there was a bit more variety to match the shimmers a bit better, but I am happy we have plenty of deepening up options that aren’t just black. The shimmers are also really great, and I’m glad to see Nomad including a variety of textures and formulas. There are sheer vs opaque shades, muted vs vibrant, multichome vs standard, etc. Again, I feel like a couple of the shimmers are a bit too close to be in the same palette, but I get that they go with the theme. Bella Beaute Bar x Freya - Yin & Yang ☯️ @bellabeautebar sent me this for paid swatches. Apologies for the delayed swatches with this palette - mine decided to take a detour and finally showed up! Congratulations @freya86_ff on this launch, it is so perfectly you :) All the mattes were the beautiful BBB quality and very cool toned and neutral. The shimmers were also great as always - nothing too squishy, overly emollient, or flakey! There is also a new type of formula in this palette which is a split pan water activated liner. I had no issue building it up in swatches and I’m curious to see if the brand will continue making these. #eyeshadowpalette #indiemakeup

Gourmande Girls Apparition palette @gourmandegirlscosmetics sent me this in PR. You can use my affl code NOOPUR to save. Pastels for Spring… I know, I know, groundbreaking. I will say though that this is a pastel palette that I can get on with. I love the combination of traditional pastels, more muted colors, and deepening up options. Quality wise the mattes built up really well and were super buttery. Even the pastel mattes built up easily, but I will be testing them on the eyes today! There are 5 shimmers in this palette, which is standard for GG. None of them were overly oily or squishy, but a couple were on the softer and emollient side. They mostly have a medium particle size that smoothes out easily while still giving you a super sparkly finish. It is interesting to me that 2 of the shimmers are darker shades considering it is overall a mostly light midtone palette. Stay tuned for a look with this palette! #eyeshadowpalette #indiemakeup

Micka Beauty Shop Gem Altar Palette @micka_beautyshop sent me this in PR. This is the latest palette from MBS and it’s an all shimmer one. I’m a huge fan of their shimmer formula and this palette is no exception. This palette is magnetic, but the shadows were all shipped in their own sleeves to protect them. I will say, the shadows don’t perfectly fit into the palette wells and I needed to apply some force to get them in there. *** UPDATE: The brand let me know this was just an error with the PR palettes and customers will receive a fixed palette! All the shadows are super sparkly/shiny, with various levels of shiftiness, and some holo shadows too. The brand’s formula is on the drier side which also helps with how sparkly the shadows are! The textures vary from super smooth to some with a bit more texture, but no flakey shades. If you want a variety of shadows to try from the brand, this is the way to go!! Especially if you are in Europe since this brand is more accessible there, #eyeshadowpalette #indiemakeup
