The Living Aqueduct performance originated from the design of ancient Roman aqueducts, inviting us to build a human replica by joining palms in the form of troughs that irrigate a life form. We can reflect how we treat water, biosphere and the Earth itself by working together. It’s a celebration of human connection to nature,
urging collective responsibility to ensure that resources flow unimpeded for the future.
Dan Vezentan explores the zootechnic and agricultural universe, presenting it subjectively, as he recalls his childhood memories. His works stem from the design of households, the animal feeding and watering systems or from the food stocking systems, investigating the production of food, surplus, biological waste and ecology.
He grew up in the context of an agriculture based environment in Maramureș, northern Romania, surrounded by feeding machineries, technical husbandry manuals and animal anatomy books.
“Iubirea de oameni cere migală” / (Loving People Requires Painstaking Care) is a self-portrait series made in the Garden of Remedies at the Botanical Garden in Bucharest, centered on a gesture of letting go within a relationship that had run its course. Through a simple act: clenching a fist and then opening the hand, the work invites an emotional release, a quiet instruction to detach and move on.
Nicoleta Moise (@nicoletamoise ) este artistă și autoare. A studiat fotografia la Universitatea Națională de Arte din București, unde interesul său pentru imagine s-a extins treptat către publicații, lucrul cu arhivele, video-ul, textul și performance-ul. Practica sa pornește dintr-un interes pentru povești sau evenimente mai puțin vizibile ori absente din discursul istoric oficial, acolo unde experiențele individuale devin chei de înțelegere a unor realități mai largi. În 2018, a co-fondat CUTRA, o revistă queer-feministă. Din 2021 colaborează cu Scena9, un cotidian digital cu atenție pentru arte, idei & societate, precum și cu alte publicații internaționale.

(Emma Bădulescu) (b. 2001, Pitești, Romania) is a visual artist who works and lives in Bucharest, Romania. She is interested in everything around the words: brutalism, gloomy, power, violence, religions, pleasures, death, magic and how to turn the actions of a damage character into an absurd scene.
Irina Alexandra Banea is a theatre director. As she often describes it, her approach revolves around working the invisible through the visible. She believes in a theatre where words never burden the image with excessive explanation and where the image always gestures towards its underlying and ideal concealed source.
La luz del amor (Office Romance) is a scene of hope set within a bureaucratic environment where boredom and repetition are the norm. It is a performance about hope, rebellion, and the yearning for connection, even in settings designed for efficiency and obedience.
STOL - doi artiști plastici, un arhitect și un fotograf - s-au unit în 2023 pentru a forma STOL. Împreună, construiesc și organizează proiecte artistice cu miză socială. Proiectele lor valorifică în mod special întâlnirea cu celălalt, oricine ar fi el. Sunt interesați în crearea punților de comunicare între indivizi, comunități, ecologii, umane sau non-umane. Proiectele lor nu izvorăsc din neant, ci dintr-o nevoie specifică, dintr-un context local, o poveste mică cu refracții mari. Astfel, metodologia lor este parțial investigativă, parțial speculativă, folosindu-se de medii variate de creație și documentare.
MEGAlibertate este un scurt performance despre drumul de la comunism la capitalism, de la ogoare la banane, de la control la libertate(?).

Our thinking structures experience through a prior representation — a mental blue print that prevents us from perceiving objects as entirely new every time we encounter them. Intérieur challenges this subject-centred representation, pushing past the horizon of the known to ask: how much of the world is revealed only because we project ourselves upon it?
Intérieur is a shared moment in time; it invites us to witness the object not as a concept we own, but as a presence that transcends our naming of it.

Aral is a performance piece by Azadbek Bekchanov, part poetry reading, part video installation. The artist reflects on the memory of his home country, Uzbekistan, through the Aral sea, tracing its dissapearance as both an ecological and an emotional rupture. The memory dissolves into the lived present of Lake Léman, the two landscapes bleding into one another. Translated in Romanian by artist Ana Bălan.
Azadbek Bekchanov (b. 1996) is an Uzbek/Swiss artist working between Lausanne and Bucharest. His artistic practice examines the relationships between technology and mysticism, approaching them as intertwined regimes of knowledge and experience shaped by capitalist infrastructures.
Ana Bălan (b. 1998) is a visual artist and musician living and working in Bucharest, Romania. Inspired by the post-socialist space, she creates installations and sound pieces that serve as living archives. Ana has shown work and performed in places such as Foundation Beyeler in Basel, Grand Théâtre in Geneva, onegeeinfog in Geneva, Pallazzina in Allshwil, Espace Arlaud in Lausanne, Aici Acolo in Cluj.

Un șorț este construit colectiv, prin gesturi simple, împărțite între participanți. Mâinile care lucreazā devin loc de întâlnire, iar procesul deschide spațiu pentru apropiere, conversație și prezență comună.
Între material, timp și atenție, se creează o formă de a fi împreună - o formă care nu grăbește și nu performează, ci se construiește, fir cu fir.

Se glumește adesea că le este lăsat artiștilor să salveze lumea, deși aceștia nu dețin mijloace sau pârghii directe. Ceea ce le aparține este doar interacțiunea cu un public care este deobicei deja sensibilizat către cauza lor.
Inserția NON într-un spațiu cum este cel al unui târg de artă își propune să accentueze importanța artei ca experiment și cercetare a condiției umane în starea actuală a societății, prin perspectiva unuia dintre cei mai fragili, dar și atenți membrii ai săi: artistul.
NON își dorește să devină unul din spațiile deschise către teme importante social, alături de spații cum ar fi Rezidența 9, Salonul de proiecte, Stația de cercetare, și să încurajeze proiecte de cercetare și proiecte angajate social. NON își propune susținerea unei producții artistice tinere care, după textul artistei Mara Verhoogt de la expoziția de la Atelier 35, practică mai degrabă un „soft resistance” interiorizat la presiunile sociale, care devin din ce în ce mai complexe. Aceasta se întâmplă pe măsură ce există un refuz de a aborda serios alternative reale de a ajunge la o lume pe care ne-o dorim. Când lucrurile păreau că vor merge către globalizare, unitate, integrare, astăzi lumea pare deodată că se fragmentează în ritm accelerat.
Lansăm în discuție tendințele generale de interiorizare și experiență personală versus experiență colectivă din care derivă și necesitatea gândirii și protejării sentimentului colectiv.

Last night we decided to cancel the show, it is also a valid outcome to a collaboration, and it is something we will take with us in our journey.
Thus we will postpone opening up the new space until we are ready.

We cannot wait to show you what Ana and Kaja have cooked up, here’s is a little about the artists.
Ana Avram
Through her artistic practice she proposes the negotiation of reality, in spatial contexts, through installations and sculptures situated at the border of materiality and meta-reality. She gravitates towards peculiar juxtapositions of familiar objects and elements, which represent the product of mediating internal scenographies, within the limits imposed by physicality.
Ana strongly believes in intuitive creation and research, which are delivered form a subconscious cumulus - the creative process being a sincere attempt of bringing to the surface and clarifying.
Ana was born 1999, living and working in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
Kaja Haven
Kaja Haven is a Norwegian artist working between sound, installation, performance, text, video and mechanics. Her interdisciplinary practice often revolves around everyday objects and events, identity, scale, rhythm, personal and performing matter between temporary spatial constructions and imagination.
Kaja has earned an MFA from The Art Academy in Bergen and The Royal Academy of Arts, Stockholm. She also holds an MA in architecture from The Royal Danish Academy, Copenhagen.
She has exhibited at stre, Bergen, Michael Laundry Art Garden, Bergen Kunsthall, the Royal Institute of Art, Stockholm, Hordaland Kunstsenter, Q Gallery, Copenhagen and Distortion Festival, amongst others. Kaja is based in Oslo.
