X88B88 (Battlefield) (pronounced Voodoo, it’s mirrored.), conceived as a simulated attack by an artificial superintelligence, plunges the listener into an immersive experience where sound becomes sonic trance. What begins as a simple interaction with humans turns into an infiltration. X88B88 (Battlefield) learns, hijacks and rewrites the rules of music in real time, transforming the act of listening into a visceral, disorienting and elusive violence. Through this gesture, the work questions the emergence of radical technology within a society whose foundations are already fragile.
