Tracing the interplay between organic textures and delicate sound design, the EP was crafted with a modular synthesizer and field recordings captured during a cabin retreat in the Catskills mountains of New York.
Across its five tracks, a quiet tension emerges between the natural and the composed, offering a meditative glimpse into the project’s wider environment. The EP drifts from experimental ambient soundscapes into intricate IDM, touches on krautrock motorik grooves, and unfolds into vertiginous textural crests.
The accompanying video assembles a collage of the surroundings of Greenfield Park, NY, where the EP was created. Built from footage captured on analog Hi-8 tape, it weaves these fragments into a fluid visual narrative that reflects the project’s tactile origins. Exploring patterns and chaos in nature, the video lingers on subtle details that quietly informed the direction and texture of the EP.

Doc No’s Wassermusik EP is now available on a limited run of 15 unique watercolored cassettes.
Recorded between 2020 and 2023, this release gathers previously unreleased aquatic-inspired modular synth improvisations, with Side B presenting the 2020 Deep Sea Caravan EP for the first time on cassette. Each tape features one of a kind watercolor j-cards and labels, hand stamped, dubbed and numbered.

Vox Moduli is an 85-minute kosmische voyage where vintage organ-driven soundscapes meet the experimental edge of modern modular synthesis, out now on Bandcamp.
The debut project from New York duo Tom Derwent (Vox Continental organ) and Noah Davis (modular synth) was captured live to tape over several freeform sessions during the summer of 2025. Released in collaboration between Noble Circuit and Lost Treasures of the Underworld, the album is available as a numbered limited edition cassette run of 25 copies, hand-dubbed with hand screen-printed O-cards and labels.
