Available wherever you listen to music, the second song from my album Flight of Fallen Leaves is released on @bannermountainmusic - link in bio
Bird Song is a true story.
Far offshore on a sailing passage, a small bird (likely blown out to sea by a storm) crash-landed on the boat.
It ate, rested, and stayed aboard for a week before flying off again.
We were two travelers, finding our way across a vast ocean.
This song is about that kind of moment, when we meet someone far from home and offer them care and gain a new perspective.

Following the critical acclaim of his debut album Big Water, @noahsolt continues to carve his path as one of indie folk’s most introspective and evocative voices with his forthcoming album Flight of Fallen Leaves. 🍂
Noah took an unexpected turn in 2020, leaving the Berklee College of Music to become a professional sailor. His experience at sea inspires the oceanic depth and emotional nuance of Big Water — a project recorded at the legendary @fame_recording_studios in Muscle Shoals, Alabama with GRAMMY®️-recognized producer @staritamusic and FAME’s in-house band, The Slow Burners. The album landed on thousands of Spotify playlists and was acclaimed in numerous publications.
From wide-open landscapes to uncharted emotional territory, Noah’s music is a journey through the unknown — and Flight of Fallen Leaves is the next chapter. Dive deep into ‘Big Water’ and stay tuned for his next single, ‘Willow’, out everywhere July 25th.

Towards - Away:
Moving towards one, moves us away from another.
closing the distance towards one thing - distances us from something else.
Luckily, the world is overflowing with abundance.
Whether here or there,
we’re never far apart
these days

For when you call out,
“what’s my place?”
There’s an answer in your name
In the shadow, hangs a star
An old familiar face,
An old familiar face
An Old Star

sometimes I get out of my mind, for a fleeting moment. Often it’s when I’m at a loss for words.
A moment out of my tangle of thoughts, memories and imaginations.
Just being wherever I am, and knowing I’m whole - exactly how I am.
It’s in these moments - at a loss for words - that I feel the least separation between myself and a deeper resonance.
I’ve learned to love not knowing what to say.
