From the start line of yesterday’s Flagstaff Crest 40mi trail run. Second ultra under the belt; oh so much more learned. 16th overall / 12th men’s. A huge thanks to two of my favorite people who both came out to support me for this one. And what a cool week to be out here to witness!

Scenes from my first ultramarathon: the 2025 Satisfy Saddles 50/100.
I had a lot of thoughts and emotions during the months of preparation for this event. I wanted to share something profound after it was done. But honestly? All I can think about is how much better we are going to do it next time with a few tweaks here and there.
Huge thanks to my supportive family and friends who helped me train and prep and get out here to Prescott AZ. What a beautiful place. I am incredibly lucky for you all 💛
This past weekend on Garnet Peak out in Mt. Laguna (I think). I don’t know why, but I really like this one of myself lol. And there are no rules on Instagram.
Training for an ultra has been a super awesome experience and honestly not something I ever thought I would find myself doing. Super grateful for the process so far; the runs shared and friends made along the way- regardless of what happens on ‘race’ day!!
