Noah Stanley

Ovis « Ovis » is a hiking and lifestyle shoe made with a felted wool upper combining comfort and performance. The project is inspired by the Valenki, a Russian boot made entirely from a single piece of felted wool and typically worn with a separate rubber overshoe. Wool is a natural, renewable resource with outstanding qualities such as breathability, thermal comfort, moisture regulation, adaptability, cushioning, and antibacterial properties. Despite these benefits, it remains underused in modern footwear in favor of synthetic materials. The idea behind this project Is really to highlight wool as a performance material and explores new ways of integrating felt into contemporary footwear. The result is then a shoe with a removable wool sock paired with a Vibram sole. The product is designed for disassembly allowing easy care and extending the product’s life. MOP A marker with modular tips that allows you to draw a variety of shapes reminiscent of 3D extrusion profiles. Inspired by graffiti culture and its DIY spirit, this tool opens up new graphic possibilities and encourages experimentation with lines and volumes.
