#TB Twinning Mother’s Day Pic with My Mother ❤️ No Editing. No Makeup. No Filters 💄 Every Mother’s Day I think of my own mother who was gone too soon. I still miss and think of her everyday as she was an incredible role model and mentor. This throwback pictures of us is at Gurney’s Inn and it’s a full circle moment as I return with the @thedealmakehers later this year. We did everything together as we traveled the world together, played almost every sport, swam almost every day, and endlessly talked fashion. I love retelling her story as she was so ahead of her time (and encouraged me to build a career and work hard as hard work can take you a lot of great places in life). She was a second generation NYU graduate and my grandfather was the first (and I am a 3rd generation graduate ) a graduate of Parsons School of Design, and the prestigious Music and Art in NYC, she was also a female Creative Director at a major ad agency in NYC ( like Peggy in Mad Men) leading the way for the rest of us by example. Some of her other amazing accomplishments include being a classically trained pianist ( like her mother and my grandmother ) who was a concert pianist, champion golfer, and having her pilot’s license as well as going on to be one of the preeminent art advisors in the country and building a new career after being widowed at 37 when my father was killed in a plane crash. The definition of grace under pressure and extremely elegant. Gone way too soon when she lost her life to breast cancer and why I am so involved in @wcrfcure in her memory, she set an extraordinary legacy and example for me to follow 🏆 There isn’t a day that doesn’t go by when I don’t deeply miss her and reminisce about all the extraordinary things we did together as we pushed forward through tragedy 🌸 I am grateful to my mother for helping me put the right foot forward to follow for a lifetime 💗 Love you and miss you mom💗and grateful and proud to be the mother of two amazing, accomplished young men that are setting the world on fire and following their dreams 🩷 It’s a beautiful and bittersweet day all in one. Happy Mother’s Day to all the great women out there 🌹🌹

Special touches included beautiful spring floral arrangements, @emmagrede being honored, and and cards individually hung on a “cherry blossom” tree with what women inspires you. An incredible wedding celebrating an incredible couple 🤍🤍 Nothing but joy as @alikaminetsky tied the knot with the man of her dreams (and she had a list of 34 qualities that were important and he checked all the boxes). The happy couple shared the most beautiful vows in stunning style with friends and family including a martini cart ( burgers and martinis are their thing) and a red velvet wedding cake, a band that brought the house down, and toasts that made us all laugh and cry (and Ali had them scripted out to the minute). It was perfect from the stunning venue and flowers to the joy you could feel in the room.
