Today, Prof Yin-Zhe Ma from Stellenbosch University presented a talk on "The 60 years of cosmic microwave background (1965-2025): where next breakthrough of cosmology will be?".
His talk attracted many members of the Physics department and students. He brilliantly explained some of the historical developments in Observational Cosmology. He explained some of his own work and what are some of the key areas that need to be studied by cosmologists.
